Thumbs up Mugen NZ or KW Variant 3?

Hi, I'm pretty new to the boards and I was wondering which suspension set up I should get. I searched and came up with no useful information, so I wanted to see your guys' opinions. I've heard that the Mugen is better than the KW and I've also heard that the KW is better than the mugen .

Some of my friend's own Mugen suspensions and those handle great for daily driving and awesome on the track! Not too stiff or too soft, just right, for me at least. I haven't personally tested a KW suspension set up, but I've heard it's great as well. With a price of around $2000, it's $1,500 CHEAPER than the Mugen NZ suspension , and with more adjustability. But Mugen is Mugen and it works great on the track (from my experience). But I'd like to hear your inputs on which you think is better, or which you think I should get.

Mugen oil filters are $40....if you don't mind paying for the Mugen name, then go for it. also, I don't think any of the diehard track guys are running Mugen coils

i have the V3 and I'm very happy.
Don't have experience with the Mugen, but I believe price/quality KW V3 is unbeatable. That's what I've been reading on this forum for the last year so...

I have experience with the KW's and the suspension is good and tunable.

The KW's are an awesome kit from every owner I've talked to who's had them. They seem to be track proven among S2000's racers as being a great bang for the buck. The Mugens are probably very awesome but for the price, there are other kits out there that I'd rather have (Moton Clubsports, JRZ 1/2 ways).

Yeah when I test drove some Mugen equipped cars, the rears did seem a little "happy" as you described, but I enjoyed that. It's almost like a controllable fishtail which makes it really fun to drive on the track (it's a very slight fishtail btw). The response is awesome as well.

So far I'm kind of leaning towards the KW V3 from what I hear.

So, how do the KW's compare to a set of Koni Yellows and ground control coilovers?
