Stopped by Honda today and noticed a new 2004 S2000 in the lot. I wanted to see all the new stuff, so I sat in it. I noticed the radio was different. I wonder if they cranked up the power. Anyone know? Nice change to the rear bumper too.

I actually pleasantly surprised by the radio in the 04. For a stock system with just 2 sets of speakers, the sound it puts out is good enough that I don't feel the need to upgrade it.

The stereo is much (much) better in the '04 than in the '00. Better control layout, better CD changer, better sound. If you feel the need to upgrade, the headrest speakers make a world of difference in the wind.

Wow, the 04 one is better than previous years? Admittedly I never listened to the radio when test driving an 03, but I think the stereo in my 04 is complete crap. Does this mean I'm just too picky and I'm not going to gain much with an aftermarket setup unless I spend a ton of cash?

All Dallas area '04 owners need to go to North Texas forum and check out our dyno day thread. A lot of us are really interested in checking these new cars out.

Cameron...
And I'll give the North Texas club site a look. Unfortunately I work Saturdays though which seems to kill a lot of stuff for me.
