Talking My 3 year Anniversary with my S2000

Welp, it will be exactly 3 years on fathers day when I bought my 2000 Honda S2000 from Courtesy Acura in Sanford.

It was a mint car with one owner (old guy), only 10,000 miles, every option added, and it was the 307th S2000 ever made.

The next day it made its first appearance at the first Grip Industry BBQ Meet.

Week later I was the first vtec killer member

About 2-3 weeks later I got my very first mod, AUT CF Cooling Plate... So nice

About 5 weeks later I got sponsored by Megan Racing with their new Street Version Coilovers... It was slammed really good for a while, but very a few major scrapes under the lip I raised it where its at today.

In Feb 2006 I bought a JIC Single Full Ti Exhaust. Only catch was that it had a small crack on its seams. I put it on my car and it held for a while till it finally broke all the way through. Sold it and put the stocker back on.

June 17th 2006 was a day that me and my car will never forget. It was our annual track day event and it was such a ****ing awesome time. Something that me and my baby will be doing hopefully this year with the next track day event.

December 2006 rolled around and I was so broke I couldn't buy rear tires for my car and it was raining quite a bit, so 2.0 dizzle offered to let me borrow his stang wheels til I get some new rubber. If I had my fenders pulled, a bit more camber, I would have rocked it hard.

Strangely again in Feb 2007, I got a email from Megan Racing that they wanted to give me their new single exhaust system to review and sell to the masses. It was such a badass exhaust, but money grew tight again and the girlfriend didn't like the noise so they were sold 5 months later.

September of 2007 turned for the worse when I was the victim of a failed seat theft. They cut a nice long slash on my top. No full coverage, no fix.

November of 2007 came as I like to call it Black November. It was a really shitty month with family trouble, girlfriend breaking up with me, and another failed seat theft. This time they were nice enough to just cut to small slashes on each side, but the alarm went off when they tried to open the door.

So we come to 2008 and my baby is still here... After countless attempts to sell the car and finally when someone was ready to buy just last month, I couldn't do it. My baby will be with me till when I really can't keep her no more. She's still here next to me, running stronger than the day I picked her up and I can't just give her away like that. With my new daily driver coming soon, my baby will turn more into a track car/weekend car. Hopefully wheels will be coming next month for my baby, but for know, she's perfect the way she is...

Very heart warming story Yet another reason why s2000's are a rare breed. They really become part of the family and have a deep connection with their owners.

Gf's gone but the car remains, and girls wonder why we're so loyal to our cars, lol.
