My car STILL drifts to the right
Hello all,
I got the S2000 back from the body shop not long ago and been taking care of little problems here and there after it had been there for 6 months. I had a thread with my story. One of the problems was that it was drifting to the right, especially at higher speeds (freeway speeds). I've gotten alignment 3 times, and tire pressures are fine. STILL it drifts to the right and is annoying because any time i hit a dip, the car wobbles. So I'm stuck...what the hell could be the problem?

What did you do to your car? Or link to your previous story?
If it was an accident (and a pretty bad one) then maybe your frame is bent. Did you replace all suspension parts in the area of impact? Control arms etc?

It is actually my brother's car and he crashed it. You are right it has to be something other than simply alignment, and I'm pretty sure everything was replaced, but the I can never be sure with that bodyshop...i'm not sure what i should do next.

Do you have a nail or other object stuck in your tire? If the alignment is good and the tire pressures are good, then this definitely could be causing what you're experiencing...

if the alignment is good, most car do drift to the right. its for safety concerns, like if you were to fall asleep on the road. and most of the public roads are created for the same reason, it has a slight slant to the right side of the road

Cars should not drift right from factory and roads are slanted for run-off during heavy rain, not for safety. Also your car should definitely not "wobble" when you hit a dip.
Still need more information on the accident (speed, what part hit, what did he hit, etc.) Chances are if he was going at a pretty good clip, he probably bent the frame. Good luck.
