My car's production number?
Well, this is my first post to the forums, and I was wondering how I find out what number my car was produced in 2000? Also, does anyone know how many S2000's were produced for the US in 2000?
Thanks for the help!

AirWolf, welcome to the board. There's a thread with the production numbers:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...ht=2002+numbers
And you can go to the FAQs (not the Forum FAQs, the FAQs at the top of the page) and it will explain your VIN number, which tells which sequential car yours is for that year.
Enjoy!

Yeah, I agree, it is much more fun that way! I see on your sig that you have lucid rear speakers? I've looked everywhere that I could think of, and I didn't see a cut and dry place to put rear speakers? Where are yours located? Do you have any pictures of them?

Thanks for the help! I've talked to lucid, and now I've got to get together with some of the S2000 owners in the NW so I can hear the difference!
So how much of a difference is there between the 2000 stereo and the 2002's stereo? Is the sound improvement a great deal different?

So I would be better off keeping my Sony Head Unit and spending the cash for the unit that allows the audio controls to work with the sony? And that would probably be along with at least getting new front speakers?
