Awesome let me add valve adjustment to the list. I know that DBW cars may have to do an adjustment more often than non-DBW cars.

I did everything on your list (except SS lines and front lip) when I got mine. I also did a valve adjustment, clutch fluid flush, and full paint correction. And also swapped sway bars (MY00/01 Front & MY06+ Rear, on my MY03).

New Firehawk Indy 500 tires last year. Did a Billman TCT last month.

Next up soon is... rear axle nut tightening and coolant change.

The rear axle nut TSB is a good one! And a very quick thing to check!

I'm pretty sure plugs are also a time related maintenance item - maybe 7 years? I have an 02 with about 20K miles. I changed the original plugs recently. It made a noticeable difference. So, my vote is to change the plugs if they are original no matter the mileage.

Also, if you have an ap1 I would adjust the valves and inspect the retainers visually but I would not change the retainers unless there is a problem discovered during the inspection.

The color of the OEM lip may be off because the car is already several years old. I think if the car you get is black or white, then it should be ok.

There is thread someplace for stuff for new owners to do and check. VERY comprehensive, detailed list of things. Very worthwhile to search out.

Thanks for adding this one. After reading your post I picked up some Shin-Etsu grease and applied it to my recently purchased S2000. The rubber bits were already in great shape (perhaps this car has been treated to some of this stuff in the past) and I intend to keep it that way.
