Karma. Get the monies from insurance and install everything yourself. All of the parts the guy/girl took can be easily installed back. You'll come out ahead! Sometimes things like this happen to good people... don't think too hard about it just concentrate on what's next.

Get an alarm. An inlaw had his car "parted" like yours where a very strange selection of parts were taken - suggesting the thief was targeting replacements for a specific vehicle. After all the parts were replaced, the thief came back and stole all of the same parts again - but this time they were new.

So sorry for your loss but things like this seem to happen to most of us at one point in our lifetime. As the car begins to go back together, your outlook will dramatically change, take my word for it. My experience is with a house fire in which I lost virtually all the contents. Do something with the car that you may have never done or have been procrastinating about for a long time. When you do get the car back together, you will relise that it has never looked so good. May I suggest a hardtop (with locks)? I urge you to take these words to heart as soon as possible. Your biggest fear at present is dealing with your insurance as it was with me. In the end though ,it always seems to work itself out. A hassle? of course, but the end result will be an even better S2000.

Get it put back together, park in the same spot and hide in the trunk with a shotgun and when the asshole comes back blows his frigging head off. I hate people that have no respect for other people's property.
Sorry for your suffering.

awful that the theif is probably readings this thread awaiting an update to see what other parts to take. i remember other car forums where sigs were targeted for parts in certain regions, fortunate for me my car is garaged and my work is a secured lot.

My thoughts on this are recalling State Farm's efforts to do anything to avoid paying the valid claims of Hurricane Katrina victims. State Farm's tactics were well-documented and even exposed in the Congressional Record. Hope you have better luck.

Dang that sucks, I wish somebody would do that to me, id be so pissed off.
State Farm has always done me good. I made like 4500 bucks off of my 07 Civic Si with them. They paid for some aftermarket stuff too so that was nice.
