No kidding, that's ridiculous. Why even buy a nice car if you aren't going to drive it? I understand preservation for the long term, but not like that. I mean, drive it, but just don't over do it so you can keep it for a while, but under 1K in miles in 7 years? What's the point of owning one if you aren't going to use it.

Probably right. I should trade it in on a car with 60k that's been wrung out for the last 7 years. Hmmm...

I don't know -- mine hits 9k in a rush that makes me smile ear to ear long after it's back to 2,000 rpm in 6th poking along at 40mph.

Yep, got my 07 GPW three months ago with 7 miles on the ODO. I now have 11K miles.
