Alright guys...I just got back from one of the local dealers here in Clearwater, and I inspected a 06 Laguana blue (still all taped up, but "was PDI'd"). And yes it did have the same ride height as my car!!! I guess the 06's sit higher than the 05's etc...I even asked one of the techs and he confirmed it!! Why the white 06 I saw the other day was lower than mine is beyond me I guess...

Rubber spring spacers. These are put on at the factory to keep the car from bouncing too much during shipping. They are to be removed as part of the dealer PDI. Some dealers are just too stupid to know about this.
how can we see these spacers without the car going up on a service lift?

also, does anyone have pics of these spacers?

why would an 05 be lower than the 06? honda didn't release any info regarding a higher ride height for the 06. it might just be the angle of the pavement and color of the cars.

There are lots of reasons why. He may have been lowered or had really low tire pressures, or had a full tank of gas (and you near empty) or he could have had a trunk full of stuff (maybe a dead body ). He may have changed his alignment. Maybe he had different tires or rims. Did you ask about any of these things?

His car was all stock...maybe he had a full tank of gas while mine probably had a quarter tank as usual

There is a quick fix for this problem.....and all the supplies can be purchased at your local home depot.

here is what you'll need:

1. a few 90lbs bags of cement.
2. a welding torch.

Place bags of cement in trunk of car, heat up springs until car reaches desired height, let cool.

done.

everyone keeps asking about the damn spacers, ONEQUIKSTI, have you checked or not? all you have to do is feel your way behind the tire and check the spring

and btw, you went to the dealer and compared to a car that's still new and probably has the spacers also

and also, the spacers DO make a difference visually. at our weekly meets we've spotted 2-3 cars already with spacers from about 30 feet away.

I had the car rechecked like 2 weeks after owning the vehicle, and yes at that time there was 1 spacer left in the car that was removed...and as for the new 06 Laguana sitting in the back of service earlier today I asked the tech who did the PDI on that car if he removed the spacers, and he said he did
