For those who are new to the Forum, RP:
The AUTOart model is extremely accurate to the US-spec, but I found one very tiny clue that the model design began as a RHD version. Did anyone who has the model notice this little exception? |
window switches are reversed?
|
emergency brake location
|
Red lines at 7200rpm? :D
|
No CARB emissions sticker.
|
Nothing in it from Rick?
Airbag warning stickers? Slice in Carpet? Can't open secret compartment? I give up. I don't have one so it makes it a bit harder to guess. Jim |
yeah...all the switches on the armrest;windows, mirror controls are on the japanese drivers side........
|
Do we need a magnifying glass to see? Damn if I can figure it out.
DBW... you crazy man.. |
H-GAL...just like on the big-un,open the drivers door and look at the switchplate on the armrest;=short.then open the passengers door;switchplate is long to accommodate the mirror switch....[.it's easier with a red interior]the japanese homemarket cars are rhd thus drivers armrest controls are on the right......reason for the oversight??? good question....most likely it would mean a new pair of inner door panel molds and someone decided the cost prevailed over the small probability anyone would notice .but we noticed!!!!!

I think a scathing letter to the manufacturer is in order :D! Think of the safety issues of having to reach all the way over to the other side of the car just to adjust the mirrors!
... if you're Stuart Little, that is :D. |
