Default Need Assistance - Radio Code

Battery died, and I do not have the original card that came with the car with the radio code. I have the serial number from the back of the radio, but I need someone to translate. Can anyone assist me with this, or do I need to call Honda? Thanks in advance!

Look for a sticker in the glovebox, if not, then dealer.

If you do not have the sticker with your radio code on it (check all the hiding spots, the original dealer may have stuck it somewhere), you can follow this procedure to recover your radio code and take that number to your local Honda dealer where they can look up your code.

Remember, this just gets you your radio code:
From Philiam

"turn off unit press and hold #1 & #6 presets while turning the radio on. the display toggles between 2 screens the first displays a U and the second screen an L. Ignore the letters that's your units serial # Ex. U1234 L4321 your serial # is 12344321. Honda just enters that on their puter and you have the antitheft code put in by honda. Beats tearing out the radio. "

Just a reminder you can register your S2000 at the Honda Owner's Web Site

http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com

When you register your car you can enter your radio code. That way if you ever need it you don't have to go to the dealer.

I look up my radio code every year because I take the battery out of the S when its stored for the winter.

Take the opportunity to get rid of that crappy OEM radio and upgrade with a new HU. Then you'll never need that ridiculous radio code again...

Update - Like I said, I pulled the radio out last night and got the S/N. It turns out the same code was on the inside of the glove box. I was familiar with the glove box number in my car, but I was expecting it to be the ACTUAL code, not the serial number. Had I known that, I wouldn't have had any problems. I called my local Honda dealership, and everything went perfectly. I had my code in a matter of probably 20 seconds. No registration, VIN, or payment required!

What a great web site! I had never heard of it until now, and I just registered. It's awesome! I didn't know there was a recall on my fading tail lights, so I've already scheduled an appointment for that recall. Sweeeet.
