Just today I had a dream that my gf was driving my s2k (silverstone/black).
I was in the passenger seat and all the time I had to tell her to be more carefull e t.c. She drives quite well but her experience in s2k was awfull. And then she crashe into the bus
I could feel my sorrow, I could almost feel (don`t forget, it`s a dream) that there are a lot of scratches and front/right side were ruined. I clearly remember it even now
Got to buy one, just a couple of years to go

I didn't yell, but rather only raised my voice slightly while I explained that 10,000 is more than 8,500. I kept cool. And, of course, good karma came back at me.
Do you guys intentionally 'bounce off' the rev limiter before shifting? Is that a safe thing to do on an occasional basis? I know that shifting at the peak power point of 8,300 drops you below VTEC in the next gear. So refresh my memory please - where is the ideal RPM to shift for maximal accelleration through the gears?

Piston through the block? My engine spun WAY faster than 10,700 rpm and all I did was crack a washer or two. I lost compression in my #4 cylinder.
The red part at end of tack lighting up may appear to be an indicator of increasing revs. It is, in fact, an indicator of the revs ceasing to rise.
