Well, there are a boatload of fakes BMW look-alike wheels.... the ones on the fake picture are definitely faked because the person who replied much earlier on this forum found the exact same car - same down to the license plate - that somebody had very poorly photochopped into an alledged 2004. They even forgot the right-hand tailpipe, leaving it round when they colored in the other side as oval. A rediculous fake.

Who knows what you saw... but the pics are fake.

I agree it is fake, but I think they did a pretty good job. They DID change the passenger side tail pipe. Remember that an oval looks round from some angles.

And to be fair to the magazine, we don't know what the full Japanese text translates too... it might very well translate as "fake", "impresison", "wild guess", or even "we used fake wheels and forgot the tailpipe on one side". No way to tell with such a grainey scan.

Bottom line is we've found out very little TRUTH about the 2004... and there is a press ban in place until mid-Sept.

Thanks. : patting myself in the back: I did the lights myself.. It took a whole 6 hours, but it was worth it.. Five months and no condensation, and it rains a lot here in Houston..
A bunch of Houstook guys are going to Austin for S2k Days.. I want to go.. Got to check though..
