I don't think you calculated the top speed correctly.

I'm new to the forum and what a quandary I'm already in. I've been lurking for a few months and was expecting to pickup a 2003 Silverstone this week, but now I wonder if I should wait a few months for the '04.
I test drove the Z4 this weekend just to make a final comparison and the extra torque was nice. However, it seemed a bit erratic in its handling characteristics compared to the S2000 and the shifting was nowhere near as crisp. Besides, at $46K it's nowhere near as great a value. It sounds like the '04 might make this comparison irrelevant.

STL: My post isn't worthless to anyone with the basic math skills to divide by 9000 and multiply by whatever RPM limit they want. I even included the formula so people could plug in their own numbers. Maybe it was worthless to you. PS, there has been no confirmation one way or another about the 9000 redline, just a bunch of speculation. If there has been confirmation, please post!
For some reason, when I tried to delete a duplicate post, the original got deleted too. The entire thing is quoted in Andrew's message though.

I'm also curious (you might even say scared) about what "SPG refinement" means.
NVH means Noise, Vibration, and Harshness...what's SPG? Smoothing Potholes for Geriatrics? I hope it isn't market-speak for softening the suspension.
A dual mass flywheel is obviously a flywheel that has one mass when you're letting the clutch out from a dead stop, and a lower mass when you're trying to accelerate... Or maybe not. Wouldn't that be cool though?
