So, does this actually get back to Honda or do they have a rep reading and responding?

So does this mean the forum will only allow positive comments?

I believe some negative reviews/comments may be just as constructive as positive ones. Also it may help potential buyers to understand both the pros and cons of a car they may potentially purchase.

No, I think it means no "f-this, f-that, go to hell Honda, you suck donkey nuts" and "Why doesn't the S2000 have 85,000 RWHP?" stuff.

Honda reads the site. They will read that forum. By combining the all the Honda feedback in one place there is a better chance they will see it all.

You can post both good and bad comments but negative comments must be well thought out and factual. "Honda sucks" will be removed as being too retarded to take seriously.

cthree, is there a chance someone who speaks for Honda would reply to a post on that forum? Or is it just a place to get our comments / concerns out there?

I've talked to someone in AHM who said they would post occationally to let you know that they are listening. However I would consider the conversations to be one sided. It's unlikely that there will be any direct acknowledgment or discussion with them on the topics raised. They simply don't work that way.

The point is to put our customer comments and feedback in a place where we know it will be heard by those that make and influence decisions within Honda. This does 2 things:

It gives us a voice, as customers, to voice our opinions, ideas and concerns to someone that matters,

It demonstrates to Honda that we are their customers and they best respect and listen to us if they know what's good for them.

It's short of being official but then a "thank you for your comments" letter doesn't offer much assurance that what you had to say got to the right people. The information posted here will and does get to those people. Even though you want find the engineering team openly discussing potential future changes to the car or the customer service dept. Discussing service issues, they are reading this forum, taking notes and making decisions based on what they see here.

Now that's a job I want with Honda. The guy who sits and reads Internet forums all day long and tells the engineers what the people want.

If anyone from Honda is reading. I'm available.
