Default Noob problem: Weight different between year?

Anyone know the ballpark weight number for earlier(2000) S2000 and the 06 model?

Not sure it have been covered before but yeah, thanks!

My year 2000 S2000 weighed exactly 3003 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas and me in it when it was stock. I weigh 170.

Ap1's weigh around 2700 pounds. No idea on the actual weight of the new 06's, as honda's "curb" weight, is either inaccurate, or accounting for driver.

Freight on each S is listed at 2800 lbs.

Quick way to save another 50lbs is to ditch the spare/tools and get a mini battery

My 2000 weighed 2699 with no spare and no tools. I weighed it at a National Tour auto-x. I had the delan hitch and the stock exhaust at the time of this weighing.

Wait! No, I'm wrong. I had the JIC Ti/Steel single exhaust at that point.
