Default Northern owners- wait for clean streets?

Minnesota S2k owner here! Finally have a taste of spring, but we haven't gotten our first rain yet so roads are still a little grimy. Have you guys taken your cars out of storage or are you waiting for cleaner streets?

Live in Pittsburgh area. Lots of salt used here. The S doesn't come out till mid-April, after some good rains.

I always wait till theres been a hard rain to wash away the salt and sand. Here in the North East thats never really a problem. We seem to always get some spring rain.

I would wait.

If the streets are dry, I wouldn't worry much about it. If they are still wet and slushy from your snow storm a week and a half ago, then I would wait. Its going to take a lot of rain to wash all that MN salt away!

This thread is depressing.

I'm not in any rush, though. I'll probably bring mine home at some point in my life.

Thats why I love California, never had to put a car or motorcycle into storage. Drive/ride all year, feel sorry for all who have to part with their toys for months at a time.

I am green with envy about that aspect of California....but I am not about the absurd cost of living lol. Gotta pay to play I guess.
