OEM rear rotor more expensive than front rotor?

OEM rear rotor more expensive than front rotor?
Why is the OEM rear rotor more expensive than an OEM front rotor? The rear rotor retails for $90 whereas the front rotor for $75. Given that the front rotor is larger and vented, I would think that it would be more expensive. Totally nuts!

Demand is low, price is high.
The fronts are lower cost because more are made and more are sold.
I'm on something like my 6th set of front rotors and only my 2nd rears.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Four dollars more rear to front through HTG, but prices for both are less:
