Default OEM rear spoiler installation

Hey guys,

Just picked up my OEM spoiler, the small one not the big oem one, and Im just curious if anyone here installed one with just 2 bolts? (the ones on the sides)

Does it hold the spoiler alright?

I just hate drilling holes on the car and I want to minimise the drilling if i could.

Thanks guys

If you're going to drill anyway, might as well do it properly IMO. I drilled all four holes and did not have any issue. However, I've heard of people attaching the spoiler with special doublesided tape only, no drilling. YMMV.

Any links or threads? The only thing keeping me from adding the OEM lip spoiler is drilling (me or anyone else).

Sorry, no, I just remember reading about it at one point. If search is working, try that.

I used all four bolts and now I wish I hadn't because now I'm kinda stuck with the spoiler unless I want to fill the holes and paint.

If i was to use double sided tape only, wouldnt I need to shave off those side bolts that is attached on the spoiler? or is there a way to remove them without shaving it off?

I guess you are right though, Iam going to drill anyway, but its just that if the middle 2 bolts isnt really necessary Id rather not cos drilling is very scary process for me
