Kind of off-topic but indexing spark plugs with the head off the engine is like farting with your pants off. You can index plugs any time without seeing the plug faces.
LOL, uhm, obviously you havent indexed plugs before. taking them in and out and marking them is lame pain in the ass. if the head is just laying there, you just spin em in and take a look. add a shim and see where your at, youll be done with all 4 in about 5 mins. doing it with the head on, shit 45 mins minimum. but, to each his own.

I agree with everything you said apart from your opening statement. I think youll find a lot of stuff out there that is just hype....ahem...voltage stabilizer kits

as for the OP's question - wouldnt you normally ask this BEFORE you purchase something - its a bit late now!
yeah, but you get my point, most people on here are a few clicks away from fidning out what products suck, cause there are alot for our car that work well, while the crappy parts stand out on this board. later dave

i do get your point - but i think that only comes from research and time spent on the board and learning through experience. for relative newcomers and new owners, there an awful lot of junk out there which is a waste of money.

i do get your point
I don't. Take his statement:
most folks dont sell products that make no difference.
LOTS of folks sell products that do absolutely NOTHING for us. Your example of grounding kits is one. Here are others:
- Turbonator
- fuel line magnets
- intake air temp resister mod
- Slick 50, Prolong, Duralube
- fuel pellets
- electric superchargers
- short ram intakes
- aftermarket high flo cats
- high pressure rad cap
- super duper, bright colored rad hoses
- big bore throttle bodies for NA
- a Spoon battery for $315.00

I'm sure if you go to eBay, you'll find pages upon pages of useless "performance" goodies.

You're not going to be able to tell any difference. I speak from experience. If you do install the Hondata, you'll need to portmatch it too because, as it ships, it extends onto the intake passages.
