WOW! ^ robroy06
Here is the oldest picture I have a digital copy of. Not that great of quality because it is a scanned copy from the original camera photograph, i.e. film camera. It is from the late fall of '03 just before I put it up for the winter, pre-OEM lip.
Looked at it with 3 miles on it wrapped up like the other 3 or 4 on the lot. Took delivery in May '03, $33k (price included hard top installed a month later) and now 13 miles on it. They had to "get gas" they said. It rained seemingly every day that summer and it was my DD that first summer and fall. As of today it has 32800 miles. I drove it to work today and Im driving it to work tomorrow, it's a keeper. It brings so much driving pleasure through ownership that you could write a book about all your adventures in it.

I found this thread to be interesting and related to this topic.
Prices paid for a new S2000.
There was quite a bit of price gouging back when this car was introduced and the supply was very limited.

I'm not typically a NEW car buyer. But I kind of wish I would have bought my S2000 new because its a car I never plan to sell it...and its a special enough car to warrant buying new.
I'm jealous of y'all!

I just bought a new car but I'm still keeping the S. The fact that this car is appreciating helps when it comes to appeasing the wife. It also helps to see that everyone who sells their S complains and buys another one. Honestly, as fun as the S is, if I hadn't purchased it new, I probably would have sold it by now.

another original owner here.
Purchased new 1/2000, my 2000 in huntington, ny
Paid about 36K i believe.
the dealers were marking them up $5000 above the msrp.
the original plan was they were just making it for 1 year then decided to make for a long time.
i think it had 6 miles on the odometer. they just dropped it off the dealer.
still had the same car with 120,000 miles.
