Paint question
My 2006 NFR is in overall excellent condition, with the typical front end rock chips and one or two "dings" from shopping carts or whatever. I was thinking about having it detailed and the paint corrected this spring. Any reason why you wouldn't do that? It's got around 72K on it, so it's not some ultra low mile collector car.
It's been garaged since day 1, there's no real fading anywhere, just the rock chips, mainly.

You can bone up via online tutorials on how to take care of those little chips. Takes time, patience, and a good DA. If you take care of things and want to keep it that way you may want to consider a protective film on the front end to keep the rocks at bay.
I put on a film (Xpel) on my headlights just last week to keep the lenses from getting cloudy and crazed. I would be comfortable putting it on my car (especially if the pieces were pre-cut) but I have been applying film (Monokote) for a few decades.

Thanks for the reply - I was considering a good film/coating afterwards, good to see products endorsed.
As far as the touchups, there's too many for me to want to deal with it. I don't enjoy that type of work and have limited free time.
