Painting the radiator

Is it OK to paint the radiator or will the paint hamper the radiator's ability to cool? I just got the AP2 front and I was thinking that it'd look better if the radiator was not so noticeable. Thanks.

You could do the front edge of the fins without worry. Just don't fill them and block air flow. You could also mask an S2000 in the front, without it looking too ricey.
Another option would be to pull it and have a radiator shop strip and paint without any worry.

I'd like to do it in a flat black. Would I just use a regular type of paint or would I want to use a high temp paint? Thanks again. ;)

painting the front face of the radiator isn't going to be a problem. There are actually paint available specifically for radiators which actually increase the heat transfer

Flat black spray paint should do fine. But get some engine paint from a parts store to be safe. Are you going to pull it first?

I've gotta take off the bumper cover so I figured I'd paint it while it's off. I'm not gonna pull the radiator out though.

Think it'll be OK to paint the a/c condenser with the same paint?

Thanks again.
