Is it possible to find the previous owner?
 

Guys, I finally became the owner of '00 s2k. What I thought is that is it somehow possible to find previous owners of the car? With the help of VIN or whatever? I think this would be interesting to know the service history of the car etc.

Right you are, but that's another story. I understand that it may sound stupid and why I want to get such kind of information but still is it possible. Can the carfax run be of any help? Or you can't get such info in any way...

Carfax will tell you how many previous owners, and state the car was registered in for each owner. Not much else to help
Your best bet is to go to the regional forum for the area you bought the car and ask who sold their car to the place you bought it from and keep your fingers crossed that they are members here and will see.

I checked Carfax and it has been a Florida car for all its life, then I posted a thread to the Florida community but no results. Some other ways if any?
