Pre-delivery letter to my dealer

Here are excerpts from a letter I delivered to my dealer tonight to outline the prep requirements that have been advised on this board. I thought it would be a good idea to get these in writing.
He responded very well. In fact he said the faster they get the car out the door the better: he added that it causes way too "much commotion when one is around, especially if people coming into look at cars see the S2K on the lot. He can't show it and he can't let them drive it, which just pisses them off.

Rick, make sure that if the dealer does put the top down that they stop it when it's halfway down to check to make sure that it's folding correctly.
My car was delivered top down and the first time I put it up, I noticed a huge kink in the clear plastic window. When it had been put down previously, it had kinked and no one noticed.
The kink eventually came out after being in the San Diego sun, but every time I put it down I have to check it and 90% of the time it starts to kink again.

BetTheMortgage,
I already took care of the sticker thing by telling the dealer if he wanted to put advertising on my car he'd have to pay me $50 a month for the life of the car.
There will be no dealer stickers on my car.
Tom, thanks for the advice on the top.

The mats should come installed from the factory. To many dealers kept messing up the carpet so they just installed it to avoid that problem I believe.

Rick,
Just to make sure, there are a total of 14 spring spacers. Ask them to keep them when they remove them and provide them to you for future use if you have to haul the car for some reason.
You know, I think that most of us are almost as excited at your receiving the car as we were when we got ours. You have been such a big part of the board for so long now that we think we know you.
