presistant odb2 code: P1457
P1457 ????
thanks |
looks like leak in the evap system... is your gas cap tightened all the way down?
|
A loose gas cap WILL NOT set a P1456.
The 1457 is a evap leak on the canister side of the Evap system. The most common cause for this DTC in climates that have snow is a rusted/corroded EVAP bypass solenoid. It really needs to be checked out by a qualified and experienced Tech to properly dianose this system. |
