Default Problems with s2k

Good afternoon,
I noticed with my s2k that after i shift into 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear. I would hear a rattling noise. If I would press the gas pedal, the noise would go away? Any advice on this. I've been told that the clutch may need a change very soon. Also , when I am in 2nd or 4th gear, the shifter would pop out of gear and go to neutral. If anyone has seen problems like these, please inform me on the proper way to repair this. Thank you

I suggest that you bring your S into your Honda dealer for the fix. It could be some small thing.

TSB are like a recall and should be covered at no charge.

not if you're out of warranty.

That depends is you are under warranty. Sometimes is can be done when you are outside of warranty as a "good will" fix. But that is up to the DSM (District Service Manager).

All a TSB really is a fix (part and/or procedure) to a problem. They are meant to save the Honda Techs time to solving some issues. Lets take the clutch decel buzz issue. Many tech may not have every heard it before , so knowing that AHM had found this issues to be a clutch, they updated the part used at the factory. This updated part could then be used if a customer had the same problem.

That is the short version, I am sure there is more to it, but you get the idea.
