Thank you.
While I'm at it, I need to do the same thing with my Mazdaspeed too...

genuine master key and xmitter
I know it's expensive but I have to have Genuine, here's what works:
genuine master key that needs to be (can be) cut and "cloned" by dealer
genuine xmitter for non alarmed cars with trunk button

I work at a Honda dealer and the key cutter we have can not do that. We have to use the HDS to program the key and it’s usually around 50-60 I believe.

that was my experience too, the dealer Keyes (ironically) in Van Nuys/Woodland Hills doesn't have the right machine in parts to do it so you have to go to service for a tech to do it.

I think the immobilizer system in the 2006+ is slightly different than the 1999-2005, I believe that a key can be cloned in the earlier cars but not the 2006+. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Bringing back this thread as it would be great to fully confirm this information.
Key 35113-S84-A02 - Does this key need to be cloned from an existing key (i.e. it is writable) or does it need to be added to the ECU (has it's own unique code)? I recently tried to have this key added to my ECU (MY 2001) and the dealer equipment was not able to recognize the key.
Key 35113-S2A-000 - This sliver head key has no immobilizer chip inside it. Correct?

That doesn't look like an S2000 key (at least a US 2006 key). The US key doesn't have ward channels on it. It's just a flat plate with the key pattern raised on each side.
Edit: Yup. That's a JDM key, not a US key.
This is a US Market key blank:
