Still around as well. Someone noted it's inevitable on any BB that the quality of posts deteriorates once most of the "good" topics have been discussed, that's evident here. I used to look forward to every visit with enthusiasm, now I'm just as likely to get my panties in a bunch by some illiterate, mindless post from an imbecile who can't read/write well enough to know what "Spell Check" means (Is it really that difficult to click on a button???).
Though if you look hard enough, something worthwhile can usually be found here, it just takes LOTS more digging than it used to. C'est la Vie.

Charlie, I remember that web site. Remember our first s2000 meet? What was it May 2001 @ Englishtown?
As a side note I just made my last s2000 car payment last week. 36 months down. I wonder how many more to go...

It's definitely interesting to see some of the old members pop up...names I haven't seen in a long time, and even some I've NEVER seen. Looking at the diff between my number and Aus's, well over 200 people signed up in just 4 days.

CDN 700 here.
I remember the old days when I knew EVERYTHING that was going on everywhere. I used to read almost every post since every single one had new and interesting information in it about our beloved S2k.
The admin of the website have done a great job and the number of S2000 owners has grown. Unfortunately this has the effect of filling most forums with BS... No matter what though, this remains the best online forum out there IMHO.
I believe most of the old-timers have either become silent, or re-trenched in "under the hood" and "racing and competition".
Some have also sold the car. I might join this latter group soon although I am sure I will miss the car a whole lot. I won't leave this forum though.
After 3 years of searching for a good service department, I am happy to say I have found one. Their service is bar-none EXCELLENT, if you live in the region it's LOMBARDI HONDA, I am going to write them a thank you letter soon. I am very impressed and wish I had found them before.
I had wasted so much time arguing with dealers and Honda Canada over the vibration (CV joint) and clutch buzzing issue, these guys knew about both problems and did a whole clutch job and CV joint job in ONE DAY I had the car by the end of the day.... TRULY AMAZING.
But the pain and anguish that Honda Canada has caused is hard for me to forget, I am almost on the verge of trading for a 350z (Test drive this noon).
If Honda brings out an S2200, I know where I am going to buy it from and get it serviced so I might be back!!!!!!!!!!
No matter what though, I am still going to read "Under the Hood" and "racing and competition", there is always good info there.
I will never forget the good old "growing days".
Sorry about the long post, was looking for the most appropriate time to release this info!
