Yep, that sounds like good advice.

Just did the first change on mine and it took 5.426 quarts. No joke.

Wrong! Look on page 166 in your S2000 owners manual. It clearly states the following:

6. Refill the engine with the recommended oil. Engine oil change capacity (including filter): 5.1 US quarts

 

mine took 5.1 like it stated.

5.1 is right, but since i have a charger and like for it to sit in the top line.. its about 5.5. The dipstick from low to high is 1 quart.

 

I'm not joking, I'm telling you what it took to fill it after an oil and filter change

 

dealer did my first change, so I can't say for sure but here's the capacity numbers I've seen:

Manual trans 1 .6 qt. (1 .5L)
Differential 0.78 qt. (0.74L)
Fuel tank 13.2 gal. (50L)
Cooling system 1.72 gal. or 6.9 qt. (6.5L)
Oil change -- w/filter 5.1 qt. (4.8L)
Refrigerant R134a: 1.2 lbs. (550-600g), PAG oil
Windshield washer 2.7 qts (2.6L)

 

13.2 gallons in the gas tank!! I have run mine for 30+ miles with no bars left on the gauge and it still didnt take over 11.5 gallons. Talk about a reserve.
