Default Question about tuning!

I just recently bought an s2k and i have currently on it an aem v2 intake and a GIC exhaust with a test pipe and was wondering what steps next to take. I want to to tune it here shortly but don't know who to go with. I was looking at tuning with Kpro but i am having a hard time finding people that have used it(don't know if there is a reason for that). I plan on buying a header, but just wanted to hear thoughts of ways i should go with tuning...Thanks

Unless you are going forced induction or nitrous or some wild stroker motor, then there really isn't alot to be had from tunning the computer. Maybe a couple of horsies but not much. Honda did a pretty good job at this for us. Bye the way, just noticed your sig says MY '00 if that is true, you could swap out for a '02 to '03 ecu and gain a bit!

^^ His early car will actually respond quite well to tuning since the MY00-01 run pig rich.

The Kpro for the stook is just too complex except on the early MY06 where Hondata offers a flash. You basically use an RSX ecu and then get sensors to fool the ecu into believing it is still in an RSX.

AEM EMS, Greddy eManage Ultimate, VAFC are the best choices in order of highest gain potential (and expense with EMS being most expensive and highest potential).

With just a VAFC you can expect 8-12whp on an early car depending on the skill of your tuner. Post in your regional s2ki forum for a recomendation in your area.

not unless you're SC'ed or turboed. it should lean out a bit but not enough to be dangerous.
