It hasn't stopped raining for 1 week straight here since January. It is raining now, hopefully it will stop tom. but it suppose to start back Sunday night.
Originally posted by pjkwong I am going to try and get my car on the road Sunday a little bit.
I feel bad not driving it since tuesday.
I haven't even had a chance to wash mine since the PA-MD border drive last weekend. Hoping to get enough of a break today/tomorrow for a quick wash. Looks like Sunday will be good for AutoX, then another crappy day Monday.
The last few years my motorcycles were my only source of motorsport fun, now the rain does not bother me as much with my "4 wheel" motorcycle. Fun in any conditions
That said, I still prefer dry and warm to cold and wet.
This weekend I am planning on going heading for the mountains of VA, WV and even NC. Hopefully there will be a dry spot somewhere.
gfacter, is that Summit Point? Do they allow convertible without roll-bars - if so, which car club?
Me, I've got an autocross both Saturday (NY BMW CCA) and Sunday (Mclub). Saturday will definitely be rain and I'm taking the M3 on street tires. On Sunday, there is a chance for sun, and it's the S2000's turn on R's. It'll be my first time driving it in 3 WEEKS. Both cars badly need their initial summer detailing - but I've been know to go weeks with out getting that done - driving comes first.

Except for the weather I love living in the northeast, and I have deep roots here. That having been said, on cold rainy days like today and weekends like we have coming I wish I had made the same move as you did.
Rain or not, a happy, healthy and safe Memorial Day weekend to everyone.
