Originally posted by Jacko I agree with you.... But even at 100's I might still have the top down..... Around here I see yuppies all the time with boxster, bmw's,audi tt....etc with the tops up I just don't get it.... I remember telling this one guy that I had just bought the S and he said nice car... But really how often in NJ will you be able to have the top down I just laughed at him..... But there are a lot of people who feel that way and will just drive around 90% of the time with the top up!!! I waited soooo long for an open car that my top is down from 1 degree above freezing (owner's manual) to as hot as it gets in beautiful downtown Timonium:rolleyes:  and if I'm on a highway going at least 35 or 40 even in the rain (goes right over the top). This AM was great - I know Saturday is supposed to rain but it looks like Sunday is now scheduled for "partly cloudy". I'll settle  |
Other than 6 runs at an autocross Memorial Day weekend, and the trip too and from the Ax (it poured on the way home btw - not nice on the victoracers I might add), I didn't drive the car once in May. Could have driven it today, but it's still on the R comps -AGGGH.

With rain forecasted for the weekend, I quess it's time for a rain joke. ;)
Two old ladies were outside their nursing home, having a smoke when it started to rain. One of the ladies pulled out a condom, cut off the end, put it over her cigarette, and continued smoking. Lady 1: What's that? Lady 2: A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet. Lady 1: Where did you get it? Lady 2: You can get them at any drugstore. The next day, Lady 1 hobbles herself into the local drugstore and announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of condoms. The guy, obviously embarrassed, looks at her kind of strangely. She is, after all, over 80 years of age, but very delicately asks what brand she prefers. Lady 1: Doesn't matter son, as long as it fits a Camel. The pharmacist fainted. :) |
ROTFLMAO.
