Recent compliments you've gotten?
 

I have gotten 2 so far.

One was an older man, while driving he pulled up next to me at a red light did the "roll your window down" motion and said
"I used to have a Yellow one! Never get rid of it, keep it forever."

Other one was I went to Autozone to get a CEL read (Evap emissions control, new gas cap ordered off Amazon), a younger worker probably around 23 came out said
"Man, I like your car. This and the Skyline are my dream cars, did you go to cars and coffee earlier?"

I get "nice Miata" all the time.

Dude walking by said: "Nice" ... Actually, now that I think about it, I really hope he meant the car...

Random guy at gas station - :walks around my car: "wait that's a Honda?"

Random homeless man when I was driving my old berlina:
Him: "what did you pay for that like 40-50k"
Me: "No, 11k"
Him: Blank confused look on his face

Lately, since my car is in storage, I get the rare "Hey, where's your Miata? It's a nice day to drive!" variation. lol

95% percent of the time I get the "awesome car" comments and then the "what is it" afterword. Every once in a blue moon I will hear "sweet S2000" and it surprises me, figure oh they are actual car enthusiast and know what's out there. To be fair though, mine is a bit off the charts as far as typical looking S2000's.

I get thumbs up often, people nodding, lots of looks from accord v6 and civic si owners. Anyone who stops for a visit has some complement... it's ongoing. And ya - most people have no idea what it is... when I tell them the age and that it's a honda I get a lot of disbelief.
