Default Regarding future postings for the MY '04 S2000

I propose that until the end of June 2003, that, starting this Saturday at 12:01 AM according to this forum's clock, that each and every future post on the topic of the '04 S2000 require the payment (by July 10) of $1 to a worthy cause. It could be a charity, goods at sponsors in a lottery, or some cash for the next person who wreaks his car. However, anyone owing $50 will have to pay up before being allowed to continue making such postings. Let the moderators choose the way the money is spent, as long as it all goes to a good cause. Also, let them decide if a posting is free or in the $1 category.

Postings explicitly and exclusively about this $1 payment process would be exempted. Also exempted will be postings that consist entirely of published materials, brochures, press releases, photos, professionally produced drawings, etc. as well as any factual posting by an employee of Honda or a Honda dealer. Words in the posting's subject would not be subject to the $1 payment in this case.

S2200, not S2000.

Where do I send payment?

I'd like to see Honda pay $1 to charity for every 04 model post since they stand to gain from it while the best we can hope for is to shell out $32K.

Why must we pay? Why is it geared only towards 2004 model postings?

This is semi-serious and I have no interest in pursuing it further. Many of us feel that the forum has been taken over by postings of mainly rumors about the '04 model.

Can we also include fines for posts such as "What is VTEC?" or "Crashed my car while in 2nd gear at 70MPH on a wet corner" or "My color is faster than yours"?? Please please, can we? And can we please fine people who post "Raced a ___" in the S2000 talk forum?

OK I'm done complaining, for the moment...
