Removing OEM trunk spoiler
I've decided that I no longer want the rear spoiler. Will it be an involved/expensive process? Will I have to fill the holes and spray the whole trunk? Would it just be more cost efficient to get a cf trunk?

Maybe you could find someone with a black trunk w/o spoiler that will trade.
much easier and possible $ in your pocket. I know that if you offered a straight up trade, you should get many many offers. OEM rear spoiler is one of the cleanest wing for that car. I would've done it/swapped with you if I still had my car

To answer your question though, there are at least four holes drilled in the trunk lid to mount that spoiler. You decide if it's worth having them filled in and the lid repainted.
Good luck,

I'd love to trade it with someone but I couldn't do it in good conscience. Awhile back something spilled/splashed on the spoiler and back bumper and now there are dull/discolored areas in the paint. I've buffed, claybared and wet sanded and it won't come out. You can't see it unless you are right up on top of it but it is there. I have no idea what caused it or how it got there but I couldn't dish it off on someone else. I guess if a bodyshop quotes for over $500ish a cf trunk would be the best route. But then I would have to get a cf hood...
