The return of.......peeling paint

Saw the threads last year concerning peeling paint on 2001 models.....well mine is a 2002. Was wondering if anyone else with a 2002 have had this happen to them????

It appears that the rear fender on the passenger side has not been installed correctly because the joint has been rubbing up against the quart panel leading to the paint peeling and the fender realigining itself.

Gotta go to the local Honda dealer anyway later this week so hopefully they will take care of this under warranty.

I thought this would not happen to the MY2002.

London, yours is unusual in that the peeling is on the rear bumper. Most cars had this problem with the front bumper. Unfortunately, I have the problem on both the front and the rear. Good luck getting it repainted under warranty, hopefully a repaint will prove to be a permanent fix.

I just noticed it on both my front and rear bumpers. I have an 02 White (3 weeks old and 1500 miles).

LondonRam, my rear bumper is installed just like yours. I noticed it from day one but I just let it go... I try not to look at it

I just had my car returned after a repaint on the rear bumper....looks good but the way the bumper is aligned, I can see this re-occuring.

ssanae, you are a stronger minded man than me for ignoring it...how do you do it??
