Rick, After your trip to Townsend in November you wrote that they were working on a leather care kit. Any news?

You wrote "Forget the Connolly products, Lexol, and most of the commercial stuff on the market. According to Terry, the CEO of Townsend Leather, most of this stuff does more harm than good."

After reading that I am reluctant to get Lexol or another leather cleaner. I realize that you are busy with a bunch of projects and the new web site but I've been holding out till this package was available. By the way, what are you using on your leather?

Funny you should ask. I spoke to Townsend about it on Monday. They were delaying out of concern that the formula was toxic, but they've modified it and it's now safe for human consumption :). So I expect to be posting some kind of a group buy on this very soon.

Tick,there is a valid reason for the Ceo statement about Lexol etc or is a marketing explanation?
I have used on my cars interiors over the years Connolly products with excellent results.

I also would like to hear some reasoning. Without any explaination, it sure sounds like a marketing ploy!! Everything I've read about Lexol has been good. I don't see how their product could truly be harmful (unless you used it too often -- like everyday or something) with so many people having good long term results with it!

Can we get the toxic formula if we promise not to eat it? I bet it's better!
