Default Rick's mats

I just received these - Wilton wool with leather trim. Beautiful mats. I do have a fitment question. (I already email Rick and Stratocaster days ago and they haven't gotten back to me). The right mat seems to be about a half inch too wide. Does the mat take awhile to settle in over the hump and therefore "narrow-up" in width?

The driver's side fits perfect, but the weird angle of the hump on the passenger's side looks like a tougher fit.

i received my Ricks wilton wool mats recently and the right side mat does fit tighter side to side than the left. the right side took some tugging and pushing to make it sit over the humps properly, but fitment is fine by my standards.

nice mats.

Follow up - I put the wife's hand weights - small home gym ones- all over the hump area and the left hand side of the passenger mat. I left them there all day yesterday and checked last night. The fitment is much better, and I'm going to leave the weights there this weekend. It looks like the carpet does need some time and help to settle down over that crazy shaped hump.

Rick and Jeff followed up with me and were willing to do whatever it took to make me happy. Great service and a great product.

^ Thanks for the tip. That is a good idea.

I ordered the Ricks wool mats and should be receiving them soon. If i have any fitment problems, i will try that. They look great from what ive seen in other members cars.
