Default Rick's Steering Wheel

Just got my new steering wheel from Rick's. My Honda dealer says it will take 2-2.5 hours to make the switch, at $85 per hour. I could take it to a local garage and have it done for less, I suppose, but not sure I want to mess with the steering wheel and airbag just to save a few bucks. How have others gone about this and what did it cost? Thanks.

It takes less than an hour to do your self. It takes longer to rent the steering wheel puller, then to do the install. the dealer is pulling your chain.

Sears has a steering wheel puller kit for $15.00.

Your local parts store will rent you a puller for free.

Removing the airbag is actually very straightforward and easy.

Then it's all a cake walk from there.
