Default RIO YELLOW PEARL paint match

I'm not sure if I am the only member who notice this, but it seem that my RIO YELLOW PEARL bumpers paint does not match under certain lighting condition. While I was chilling at the 7/11 last night I notice that under the florescent light, my bumpers (front and rear) seem to be brighter than the rest of the body while under direct sunlight the bumper are perfectly match.

anyone have a RIO YELLOW PEARL want to confirm this?

They probably aren't a perfect match in the sunlight either. Bumpers often are either slightly darker or slightly lighter than the body paint color, and this is normal.

My guess is that, during the initial spraying, car paint adheres differently to the body than it does to the bumpers since those pieces are composed of different materials.

Fluorescent light always makes things look weird -- I wouldn't worry about it.

Any good body shop will computer match it anyways.

Just be lucky you don't have Spa Yellow.

Having the bumper not match the body is totally normal. I had Suzuka blue and had the same thing you are describing.

my body shop never had an issue with matching my old spa yellow. They said it was a PITA, but they were able to match it perfectly.

I know exactly what you mean. My car in my garage does the same thing but in real sunlight it's fine. I think it's because only real sunlight brings out f the pearl

That's why it's darker in real sunlight.

this is definately noticeable on suzuka, and i freaked out the first time i saw it, actually noticed as i was taking delivery of it and was panicking that it might have been a repaint, but turns out its a common thing, and like others have said its all about the type of material the paint is going on
