Default Rubber surround for soft top

Either the search is not working, there is nothing there or I am not capable of operating a computer without supervision. Anyway, can anyone tell me what you use to keep the rubber portion of the top soft so that it does not dry out and rot or leak. The local honda dealer pointed me towards a parts store stating they do not sell such a product. There has to be a product that keeps the rubber as new.
Please advise.
Thanks

Think he is talking about the rubber seals. Honda states in the owners manual that "Shin-Etsu Grease" should be used for this.

Shin-Etsu is the proper lubricant for the rubber seals around the soft top.

What's an S2000?
You're at the wrong dealership dude.

I've been asked by a Service Advisor if my top was manual or automatic...How much power...Oh then it's a six cylinder...Oh so it's supercharged...

No, what did he do to get this job?

Then he said that the noises I'm hearing are normal(After stating that he'd never driven one before).

Do you constantly detail your car? Use 303 aerospace protectant.

Do you want to go a long time without bothering with it? Use Shin-Etsu grease.

Phone up any GM dealer and ask for "Silicone Emulsion". It's the same stuff but has its own applicator - a much better product IMO AND I don't think it's anywhere near the price of the "gold filled" Honda grease.
