i never should have sold my S2000.
it had some minor problems with it (creak from wheels when starting sometimes, top wearing a little, tires needed to be replaced), and i sold it in the winter when of course no one really wants to be driving a vert. i used those problems and the cold to justify selling it to get into a more comfortable car with more room and a "similar" engine + 6 speed manual.
in the end, i really miss RWD. i really miss the power (237 HP to move 2800 pounds vs 201 HP to move 3400 pounds). i miss dropping the top in the winter. i miss the flat cornering and the ability to just drive balls out when i feel like it. i miss revving to ~8200 RPM (TSX redline is 7000 and cutoff is somewhere around 7200-7400).
i should have bought a freaking ~2004 accord sedan as a DD/winter car and kept the S2000. with no more S2000s being made, don't make the same mistake i did, folks!
i should also note that i probably won't buy another S2000, mostly because i do not trust all the noob drivers possibly over-revving, etc.

This one is staying with me for as long as possible. I plan to keep it to the moment I can't drive and then hopefully give it or sell it to someone worthy!!!

TSX would be a nice DD though...if I didn't need a truck I would def. consider one. Pay the TSX off dude and get another S

That is why I have an S2000 and a TSX!
Thats why mine is coming to the grave with me.
Never sell a car on impulse...weight it out for at least a month or 2 before making the final decision
Every time I get the impulse to sell the S2K to upgrade, I take it out for a spin and the impulse evaporates.

i'm going through the same thing. the crap weather here right now and the fact that the S has been sitting under its cover since november had me itching to get an Sti and ditch my s2k+civic (DD/winter car) and get an all-year round one. I thought about it some more and i don't think i will be as happy driving the sti in the summer, and seeing some s2000's roll by with the top down.
so instead i'm looking to sell the civic and get something a little more luxurious to drive in the winter instead. can't wait to drive the S again, after that moment i probably wont even think about selling it
