Default S2000 car cover usage

hey guys... i just got my oem s2k car cover. so i washed, polished, and waxed the car. in my mind, i'm pretty sure it's a good deal to cover the car car during the day. however, i dont have a garage spot at my house, so the car sits in the sun under the car cover. is that a bad thing? i'm not damaging the car more by leaving the car cover on during the harsh noon hours am i? maybe i'm just paranoid! thanks for reading!

I'm pretty sure it's better for the car in blocking the uv rays from hitting your paint. Also blocking dust from settling on your car as well, bird droppings, etc...

I had bird poop on my other car and didn't know for a few days, left a mark

When and how often do you plan to use the car cover? I have one too (non-OEM) but I have to be very careful with sand and dirt that gets on the car because it will cause scratches when applying the cover or when it moves due to the wind.

So I only cover the car right after I washed it.
