When did you get it? How is the long term testing? What phone is that?

Thanks!

I decided that since instrument gauge bezels were so cheap on eBay, that I would buy one, directly mount a motorcycle handlebar GPS ball to the bezel, use an Arkon cell phone holder and wire it directly through the vent to the input of my head unit for music and phone calls (microphone mounted on upper steering wheel cowl). It worked out great. I just wrapped the original bezel and put it into storage. It's rock-solid and adjustable to any angle or screen orientation. The Arkon is expandable to handle the new iPhone + that I have on order.

Having something stuck on the back of the phone making it essentially thicker would be annoying.
You can simply get one of these which works exactly the same and you don't have to stick anything on your phone.

I personally love having a PockSocket on my phone. I use it to prop my phone all the time.
