Honda will unveil an aggressively tuned variant of its S2000 roadster (the present vehicle is pictured), dubbed the S2000 CR, next month at the New York Auto Show.
Inspired by club racers, the car is said to be "engineered around the expectations and needs of Honda performance enthusiasts," though Honda did not provide any details on exactly what that entails. An even more high-strung engine and stiffer suspension are probable.
Honda says the vehicle will be arriving in showrooms in the fall.
