Coming for 2010, the S2ki full color calendar, populated by members of S2ki.
2010 photo guidelines:
When its a nice day (or not), when your at a scenic location with your S (or not), and when your at an S2k event - take pictures!
No driveway shots with the bucket and hose in the background - get artistic, creative, and show off your S right. 90% of photos are front 1/4 view - try something different!
The 2010 calendar will feature a single car per month - competition will be fierce so take a good photo! Also for 2010, if you buy a calendar and can provide a quality picture, I can use it for the cover of your calendar.
~~~~~
Photos must be high-res - at least 150dpi, tif or jpg format. Calendar is going to be 8x10, full color, for reference. NO WATERMARKS.
Creative shots are preferred, S2000s can be lightly modified, but no extensive mod pics will be used - we need to recognize it. I'll collect them and throw them up on the web for review, and we can all throw our 2 into what we like.
Name your images properly - "[member_name]-[real_name]-[image_name]-01.jpg"
Send a brief description of the photo as well - location where it is, the car year, and significant mods - all the detail you can think of.
Send your S2000 shots with your user ID and S2ki# (under your ID, avatar in a post) to: s2ki09@gmail.com
Selected photos will be used in the calendar with the car's owner's name, photographer bi-line if not copyrighted, and the details you include.
Deadline for submissions is Oct 31.
Can I have March Plz?
Will submit this per the rules, but hoping to drum up some support from the community so you'll feel obligated to let me in!
Here's my bone stock pride-and-joy 2004 S2000. I never thought that I'd own one, let alone one as lovely as this, but I've worked my ass off over the past ten years since its release.
For this picture, we stopped in at our local fair, held in the Sanford Mall parking lot. We were hoping to catch the fair in the background and basically gave up after having a hard time finding a good angle.
We walked around in the fair, and on our way out, we turned around and found just the right spot - in the right of way. I drove the car up, then hopped out and directed traffic around it as Heather, my girlfriend took the pic. It's not a photoshop overlay - although there was just a tad of post processing done.
It makes a hell of an iPhone wallpaper too.
Check out other pics from me, but mostly my girlfriend on her Flickr page: click here.
Check out one of our Ruckuses while you're at it.
Then there's this classic gem.
Sorry, I got carried away...
