S2000s in Central Florida...
Has anyone taken their cars to the dealers in our area? I went to the fools (that is the operative word for the service guy at Holler) so I am boycotting them. I need to get all of the warranty work done, and after the little fiasco there (...the grinding at high rpms, well I think that is about 5000 rpm, he says...) the service guy proved himself stupid. So, if you've been somewhere, either post or feel free to shoot em an email.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Don't know if this will help- I am friends with the parts manager at Classic Honda. He's a straight shooter, and will tell me if their service dept. can handle the job. I can give him a call for you. I've never had any warranty work done there, but I get parts cheap!

No luck for me ! I too had problems with Holler! That's just what they make you feel like doing (Holler). Have you tried Jimmy Bryan? I guess I will just keep trying dealers until I find one I like. I will post any positive results but don't hold your breath.

My dealer is Coggin Honda.. so far so good, but time will tell i guess! Went in the other day to mention 1-2 grind.. service manager said he would order the parts right away. No questions asked. However he also said that they had not fixed one yet.. not sure if i want to be their guinea pig!!

I haven't had service experience, but in terms of enthusiasm and willingness to do things for S2000 owners, Classic is the best! They hosted a meet for us in March and included a HUGE barbecue, souvenir goodies (really nice S2000 keychains), and they moved a lot of their new inventory into the back on a busy Sunday so that we could have prime parking!
Jimmy Bryan, on the other hand, also hosted a meet for us in July. They stuck us in the back of the parking lot, behind the building, and we had to beg for even a cooler to put drinks in that WE bought. Needless to say, none of us was too impressed by the way Jimmy Bryan handled it, and the difference in attitude was noted by many of the local folks there.
Classic has my vote... great people!
