S2K carpet - what material is it made of?
So I'm giving up on trying to source new carpet for my s2000 (AP1) because I can't find it anywhere.
I'm now looking to settle with maybe getting a carpet dyeing place to dye my red carpet black (this is for the floor carpets, not the floor mats).
However, the carpet dying places are saying that they can only dye wool or nylon. Does anyone know what the floor carpet is made of? They're unable to dye polypropylene so I'm really hoping its not made of that.
Any advice and links to sources would be much appreciated.

2 things I can say here:
That red carpet is infinitely more valuable by staying red. There's a lot more black s2000 carpets floating around than red ones. It would behoove you to keep that red carpet as it is, or refresh it, but don't dye it black.
A product that I've seen provide great results would be the SEM dye, specifically "SEM Color Coat" aerosol dye for vinyl, plastic, carpet, & velour. It sprays on from the can and has lasting results aka it stands up to washing and abrasion without transferring or smudging off; really good stuff. LHT showed it in their videos a few times when refreshing the old GSR Integra they were building - they redid the faded black seats and carpets and it looked fantastic. I'd tell you to locate a used black carpet and buy with confidence knowing that so long as the material itself isn't destroyed, the color can be restored to like-new appearance with the SEM dye.

you may have just convinced me to keep the red and refresh instead - that and because getting it black is looking impossible. Spewing because i just spent like $500 on OEM black floor/graphite mats
