Well well. Here it is. My first dragracing.
I brought the S2K to Great Lakes Dragaway in Wisconsin (only 1400miles on the odo). This is my first time dragging. Unfortunately, i has to left early so only manage to made two runs. Here are the SLOW results.
1st run 2nd Run
R/T...'.715 R/T...'.537
60'....2.296 60'...2.201
1/8....9.902 1/8...9.391
Mph....74.03 Mph...76.51
1/4....15.166 1/4...14.532
Mph....93.82 Mph...87.11

Here is the conditions at the track. Temp is aroud 65 degrees. Dirty track. My tires pressure are 23PSI forgot to measure the front. Launched the car around 6K.
I know i'm a disgrace to this S2K board. I was way off from the spec. And way off from what Mr.Sev got"13.9 sumthing" and one other member got a 13.7 sumthing. I'm very disappointed. NOTICE how the 1st run got higher MPH than the 2nd run..but it's a slower run. Is there any explaination for this beside the lauching? You think my tires' pressure are low? Please post your experiences. NEED help from Veteran Dragster.

p.s. at the end of the track is when i red-line my 5th gear..what gear this you guys got to?

I've never run mine at the track, but I did run it to red line in 3rd gear, which was about 93 mph. So I guess where you say you redlined it in 5th at the end of the quarter doing about 87 mph, must be a misprint, no?

Also, 87 mph seems like a really low trap speed for a 14.5 second elapsed time through the quarter.

Anyway, have fun.

23 psi is too low for tire pressures.
I would put the stock 32 psi. If you need more grip lower it to about 28-30 and if you have to much grip (Bog) put more air 34-36. Remember, ONLY the rear tires, the front ones put them at about 34 psi and leave them there.

You're trap speeds are low too, that is partly because your car is still new but they are exceptionally low, they are probably because of rolling resistance created by the low tire pressures.

BTW, break in will shave about .3-.4 seconds and your first oil change will save you another 0.1 . So your 14.5 is not so bad. You will run a 14.0 at this pace even if your driving doesn't improve. It seems that you are driving it good already though.

Thanks,
